Romans 11

1 - 10 Israel's Rejection Is Not Final

My notes: "Paul argues that God did not in the past, and does not now, annul Israel's election because the majority have disobeyed."

11 - 24 The Salvation of the Gentiles

Paul states that Israel should be jealous of Gentile Christians who have what they lack. He also warns Gentiles of arrogance.

25 - 36 All Israel Will Be Saved

29 - 32 "(F)or the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. Just as you were once disobedient to God but have now received mercy because of their disobedience, so they have now been disobedient in order that by the mercy shown to you, they too may now receive mercy. For God has imprisoned all in disobedience so that he may be merciful to all."
